Hale Bank is a small residential and semi-rural neighbourhood on the edge of the borough of Halton in north‑west England. It lies close to the village of Hale and the town of Runcorn, within the unitary authority historically associated with Cheshire, and benefits from easy access to the River Mersey and surrounding green belt.
Characterised by agricultural roots alongside older cottages and later suburban housing, the area is largely residential with many people commuting to nearby employment centres such as Widnes, Warrington and Liverpool. Locally valued for its quiet, village feel, riverside walks and pockets of farmland, Hale Bank also shares in the wider industrial and transport history of the Halton area.
