The Canons ward sits in the north-west of the London Borough of Harrow in London, England and is largely suburban in character. It includes the green open space of Canons Park, popular for walks, ornamental ponds and mature trees, and is served by the Jubilee line at Canons Park station, giving straightforward links into central London.
Its name and some surviving landscape features come from the early 18th-century Cannons estate created by James Brydges, Duke of Chandos, and that past gives the area a slightly grander historic flavour than many suburbs. Today Canons is mostly residential, with a mix of period houses and post-war developments, a diverse community, local shops and schools, and active neighbourhood groups who make use of the park and community facilities.
