The village and civil parish of Molash sits in rural Kent, a few miles east of Canterbury and close to the market town of Ashford in south‑east England. Set on the scarp of the North Downs inside the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it is characterised by chalk downland, beech woodlands and quiet lanes popular with walkers and cyclists.
Despite a very small population, Molash has a long history visible in its medieval church and scattered historic houses, and the local economy remains largely agricultural with many residents commuting to nearby towns. The community retains a rural, close‑knit feel with occasional village events and easy access to markets and transport links from Ashford, making it a peaceful spot with strong ties to the Kentish landscape and heritage.
