Headcorn is a village and civil parish in the borough of Maidstone, in Kent, England, sitting in the rolling farmland of the Weald. It has a compact historic centre with a parish church, a couple of pubs, village shops and a primary school, and still shows the agricultural character of the area with hop fields and arable farms nearby.
The village is perhaps best known locally for Headcorn Aerodrome, which began life as a wartime airfield and today hosts light aviation, flying clubs and occasional vintage aircraft events. Economically it combines farming and local businesses with a significant commuter population thanks to good road and rail links to nearby towns such as Maidstone and Ashford, giving it a mix of rural charm and everyday practicality.
