Birling

Birling is a small village and civil parish in the borough of Tonbridge and Malling, in the county of Kent, England. Set amid rolling farmland, it retains a distinctly rural character with hedgerow-lined lanes, public footpaths and open views across the surrounding countryside.

The village contains a number of historic buildings, notably a traditional manor house and an ancient parish church, reflecting a long agricultural past. While farming still shapes the local economy, many residents commute to nearby market towns and to London, and community life revolves around village events, the hall and countryside pursuits such as walking and riding.
