Trottiscliffe is a compact, largely rural village and civil parish in the district of Tonbridge and Malling, Kent, England, traditionally pronounced "Trosley". It perches on the chalk escarpment of the North Downs, with lanes, ancient woodland and stretches of downland that give pleasant views and easy access to long-distance routes such as the Pilgrims' Way, and to nearby historic sites like Ightham Mote.
The village keeps a notably rural character: there are several listed buildings and a medieval church, and the landscape still reflects Kent's agricultural past with hopfields and orchards. Today the local economy mixes farming with a fair number of commuters travelling to London and Maidstone, while walkers and cyclists are drawn by the scenery; socially it feels like a small, conservation-minded community rather than a bustling centre.
