West Malling is a compact market town in the district of Tonbridge and Malling in Kent, England, set among orchards and hoplands that give the area its "Garden of England" feel. Its attractive High Street and conservation area are lined with independent shops, cafés and antiques dealers clustered around a medieval church and the remains of an historic abbey, giving the town a characterful, village‑like atmosphere.
The town has deep medieval roots but a lively contemporary scene: community markets, local festivals and a buoyant small‑business economy. The nearby former airfield at RAF West Malling was partly redeveloped as the mixed‑use Kings Hill estate and business park, and good connections to London make the town popular with commuters while still offering ready access to the Kent countryside.
