Wrotham is a village in the Borough of Tonbridge and Malling, in Kent, England, sited on the chalk escarpment of the North Downs. It overlooks rolling downland from Wrotham Hill, a locally prominent high point crowned by telecommunications masts, and the surrounding landscape still shows the patchwork of orchards and former hop fields that give this part of Kent its "Garden of England" character.
Historically the focus of a medieval hundred and recorded in the Domesday Book, Wrotham remains a compact village with a strong local identity, village green, church and pubs. Today it combines rural life with commuter links to London via the nearby Borough Green & Wrotham station, while small farms, local businesses and community events keep a distinct village social life.
