Grindleton is a small village in the Ribble Valley district of Lancashire in north‑west England. Set amid rolling moorland and pasture on the edge of the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and within easy reach of Pendle Hill, it attracts walkers and riders as well as locals enjoying the Ribble Valley’s countryside.
Historically the village lent its name to the 17th‑century Grindletonian religious movement; today it retains a distinctly rural character with stone cottages, farms and a village pub and hall serving as community hubs. The local economy remains largely agricultural, with some residents commuting to nearby towns such as Clitheroe, and the place is valued for its outdoor pursuits, community events and quiet Lancashire charm.
