Sabden is a small village and civil parish in the Ribble Valley district of Lancashire, England, tucked into a narrow valley through which Sabden Brook runs. It sits on the edge of the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers open moorland and clear views towards Pendle Hill, with Clitheroe and Burnley within easy driving distance.
Historically the settlement expanded in the 19th century around small textile mills and weaving, and traces of that industrial past survive in stone cottages and former mill buildings. Today the local economy is a mix of agriculture, small businesses and commuter households, while a strong village community revolves around the pub, village hall and occasional local events that celebrate rural life and heritage.
