Ingoldmells

Ingoldmells is a coastal ward on the Lincolnshire coast in the district of East Lindsey, Lincolnshire, England, set beside the wide sandy beach and dune system of the North Sea frontage. It sits close to the larger resort of Skegness and is dominated by low-lying, flat coastal terrain with holiday-focused seafront development rather than dense residential streets.

Historically a small fishing and farming hamlet, today Ingoldmells is best known for its large holiday parks and amusements - notably Butlin's and Fantasy Island - so the local economy and community life are strongly seasonal, shifting between quiet winter months and busy summer weeks with a transient workforce and caravan holiday culture. The area’s character mixes traditional seaside attractions with the practicalities of coastal conservation and the challenges and opportunities of tourism-led regeneration.
