Bracebridge Heath is a village and civil parish in the North Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, sitting on a gentle rise just to the south of Lincoln. The name reflects its origins on heathland and you can still find remnant patches of open turf and green corridors; the built environment is a mix of Victorian and early 20th-century houses alongside more recent estates, giving the settlement a layered, semi-rural character.
Today it functions largely as a commuter community with good road links to Lincoln and regional routes such as the A15, but retains a strong local feel with a primary school, village hall, sports clubs and small shops. Community events, green spaces and a conscious preservation of historic buildings and landscape combine to make it a village that balances everyday convenience with a clear sense of local identity.
