Foulden is a small rural parish in the district of Breckland, in the county of Norfolk, England. Set on the edge of the distinctive The Brecks landscape, it sits among sandy soils, open farmland and nearby pine plantations, giving a slightly heathland character while remaining within easy reach of market towns such as Thetford and Brandon.
Historically a farming community with medieval roots and a handful of traditional flint cottages and a parish church at its core, Foulden keeps a strong village identity. Local life revolves around agriculture, small-scale enterprises and community events, and the area’s uncommon Brecks flora and fauna makes it popular with walkers and naturalists even as many residents commute to neighbouring towns for work.
