Thornham is a small coastal village and civil parish in the district of King's Lynn and West Norfolk, in Norfolk, England. It sits on the north Norfolk coast between Hunstanton and Wells-next-the-Sea, with a low-lying shoreline of shingle, dunes and salt marshes and clear views across to Scolt Head Island; the area attracts walkers and birdwatchers and forms part of the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Norfolk Coast Path.
Historically the village grew around a small harbour and fishing trade and has tales of smuggling from past centuries; today its economy is largely supported by tourism, seasonal cottages, cafés and a few local services, while conservation and coastal management are important local concerns. The compact settlement retains a quiet, picturesque character with traditional cottages and a small, closely knit community that swells in summer with visitors exploring the coast and nature reserves.
