Old Hunstanton is a small coastal village in the district of King's Lynn and West Norfolk, in Norfolk, England, sited on the southern edge of The Wash. It’s famous for its dramatic red-and-white striped cliffs and a Victorian lighthouse, and fronts wide sandy beaches, salt marshes and coastal paths that make it popular with walkers and birdwatchers.
The village retains a quieter, more residential feel than neighbouring New Hunstanton, with cafés, holiday accommodation and caravan parks supporting a tourism-led local economy. Old local history - tied to the Le Strange family and medieval parish life - sits alongside conservation interests: the surrounding coast is important for migratory birds, seals and nature reserves on the Norfolk seafront.
