Sneath Common is a small area of commons and associated hamlet in the district of South Norfolk in Norfolk, England. It sits within the low-lying East Anglian landscape of arable fields, hedgerows and pockets of wet grassland, with easy links to market towns such as Harleston and the regional centre of Norwich, and within reach of the reedbeds and waterways of The Broads.
Like many commons in the county, Sneath Common has historic roots as communal grazing and foraging land, with later enclosure and agricultural modernisation shaping its present-day appearance. Economically it remains tied to farming while also attracting walkers and birdwatchers; socially it forms part of a typically close-knit rural community whose everyday life is often centred on nearby villages and parish events rather than commercial amenities on the common itself.
