Dover Beck is an electoral ward in the district of Newark and Sherwood in Nottinghamshire, England. It takes its name from the small watercourse that runs through the area and is largely residential, with pockets of green space and allotments that act as local wildlife corridors and breathing space between housing estates.
Historically the neighbourhood grew out of agricultural roots and twentieth‑century suburban expansion, and today its character is a mix of older terraces and more recent developments with local shops, schools and community centres. Economically it functions largely as a commuter area for nearby towns and cities such as Newark, Nottingham and Lincoln, while active community groups and occasional local events keep a strong neighbourhood feel.
