South Muskham is a small village and civil parish in the district of Newark and Sherwood in Nottinghamshire, England, situated on the east bank of the River Trent just north of Newark-on-Trent and opposite North Muskham. It has medieval roots, a compact village centre with a parish church and several listed buildings that reflect its long agricultural history.
The river and surrounding floodplain shape much of local life, with riverside meadows and wetland habitats attracting wildlife and occasional historic flooding.
