Nevile & Langar is a largely rural ward in the borough of Rushcliffe in Nottinghamshire, England, covering a scattering of small villages, farms and attractive stone-built cottages. The landscape is typical lowland farmland and village greens, with a number of listed buildings and conservation-minded communities rather than any large urban centre.
The area has a quiet historic charm - the name recalls local manorial history - and a few well-known local features, notably Langar Airfield (a former RAF base now used for light aviation and parachuting) and the converted country house of Langar Hall. Agriculture still underpins the local economy, many residents commute to Nottingham and beyond, and village life is kept alive by pubs, community groups and proximity to the scenic Vale of Belvoir and Belvoir Castle.
