Horley is a small village and civil parish in the Cherwell district of Oxfordshire, England, set in rolling countryside to the north of Banbury in North Oxfordshire. It has medieval origins and retains a distinctly rural character, with period cottages, working farmsteads and quiet lanes popular with walkers and cyclists.
The local economy remains largely agricultural, although many residents commute to Banbury or Oxford for work. Community life is typical of a small village, centred on the church and village hall with occasional local events, and its peaceful setting close to the Northamptonshire border makes it a convenient base for exploring the historic towns and countryside of north Oxfordshire.
