Kirtlington is a small village and civil parish in the district of Cherwell in Oxfordshire, England, set in largely agricultural countryside to the north of Oxford. It retains a compact village core of cottages and farm buildings surrounded by rolling parkland and arable fields, giving it a distinctly rural character while remaining within easy commuting distance of the city.
The village is best known for Kirtlington Park, an 18th-century country estate set in extensive parkland that hosts occasional public events, and for its medieval parish church and a number of listed houses and farmsteads. Historically rooted in farming, the community today combines active village life - a village hall, pub and sports clubs are typical - with a mix of local businesses and residents who work in nearby towns and Oxford.
