Minster Lovell is a small village and civil parish in West Oxfordshire, Oxfordshire, England, set beside the meandering River Windrush on the edge of the Cotswolds AONB and within easy reach of Witney and the city of Oxford.
It is best known for the atmospheric ruins of Minster Lovell Hall, a 15th‑century manor once belonging to the Lovell family and linked in local tradition to the disappearance of Lord Lovell after the Battle of Bosworth. The village’s honey‑stone cottages, parish church and rural setting support a small farming and commuter economy and make it popular with walkers and history enthusiasts, giving it a quiet, conservation‑minded community feel.
