Bomere Heath is a village in Shropshire, a few miles north of Shrewsbury, sitting on the edge of the county’s rolling plain. It lies close to the small lake Bomere Pool, which is a popular local spot for walkers and anglers, and has convenient road links to surrounding market towns and to RAF Shawbury.
Traditionally an agricultural settlement, the village today mixes farming with a commuter population and retains a strong community spirit; there is a primary school, village hall, a local pub and active sports and social clubs. A modest amount of modern housing sits alongside older cottages, so Bomere Heath feels like a compact rural community with easy access to nearby services and countryside recreation.
