Bradley Stoke in South Gloucestershire, England is a purpose-built town on the outskirts of Bristol, developed mainly from the 1980s on former farmland. It lies close to Cribbs Causeway and Stoke Gifford and benefits from easy access to the M4 and M5 motorways and Bristol Parkway station, which makes it a convenient base for commuters.
Today it’s known for a family-oriented, suburban feel with plenty of parks, cycleways and community facilities, including the Willow Brook Centre and a leisure centre. Economically the town leans on retail and local services plus commuters working in nearby aerospace and tech hubs around Filton and Patchway; as a relatively new settlement it has little historic architecture but a strong local identity and active community groups.
