Long Lawford is a suburban village on the western edge of Rugby in Warwickshire, England. It has medieval and agricultural origins but today is largely residential, with a mix of older cottages and post‑war and later housing estates that grew as the village became a commuter dormitory for the nearby town and surrounding centres of employment.
The village sits close to riverside green spaces and retains a strong community feel with a primary school, village hall, sports pitches and local shops and pubs. Local history is visible in the pattern of lanes and older buildings, and social life is driven by clubs and events that reflect its rural roots while serving a population who often work in Rugby or travel further afield by road and rail.
