Hinckley is a historic market town in the borough of Hinckley and Bosworth, in Leicestershire, England, sitting to the south‑west of Leicester and north‑east of Coventry with good road links via the M69. Traditionally known for its framework knitting and hosiery industries, the town still combines light manufacturing - most famously hosting the headquarters of Triumph Motorcycles - with a busy retail and commuter economy and a compact town centre of shops and civic buildings.
The town lies close to the historic site of the Bosworth Field, giving it a strong local sense of history, and supports a lively community life with local festivals, theatres and green spaces; many visitors appreciate the mix of industrial heritage, independent businesses and easy access to the wider Midlands.
