Bishop's Itchington is a compact village in the district of Stratford-on-Avon, within Warwickshire, England, set in the rolling farmland typical of the region. Its name reflects medieval ownership by the bishops of Coventry and Lichfield, and the settlement retains a sense of that long history in its street pattern and parish church.
Traditionally agricultural, the village expanded in the 19th century around local brick and lime works and today combines local amenities - a village hall, pub, primary school and sports clubs - with a largely residential community, including commuters to nearby towns. There’s an active social life centred on community events and clubs, and the surrounding countryside of hedgerows and fields remains an important part of the village character.
