Chacombe is a small village and civil parish in West Northamptonshire, in the county of Northamptonshire, sitting close to the border with Oxfordshire and only a few miles from Banbury. Set near the scarp of Edge Hill, the area shows medieval roots in its stone houses and parish church and lies close to the site of the 1642 Battle of Edgehill.
The local economy is still largely rural, with farming across the surrounding countryside, though many residents commute to nearby towns thanks to good road links including the M40. Community life revolves around a village hall, an independent prep school, Chacombe School, and occasional local events that help maintain a strong village identity.
