Yardley Gobion is a small, largely rural village and civil parish in West Northamptonshire, England, set amid arable fields and pockets of older woodland. Its name preserves a medieval manor connection - the "Gobion" suffix records the family who held the manor in the Middle Ages - and the village retains a compact historic core with a parish church and a number of listed houses that hint at its long-standing agricultural past.
Today the village combines traditional farming with a commuter element, being within easy reach of Northampton and Milton Keynes, and supports an active community life centred on a village hall, local groups and occasional events; the surrounding lanes and footpaths are also popular with walkers exploring the quieter side of the county.
