Elmley Castle is a small village and civil parish in the Wychavon district of Worcestershire, England, lying on the edge of the Vale of Evesham with easy access to nearby market towns such as Pershore and Evesham and within sight of the rolling countryside that leads towards the Cotswolds. The setting is rural, with orchards and arable fields giving a strong agricultural character and plenty of country walks.
The village takes its name from the medieval castle that once stood there; earthwork remains of a Norman motte-and-bailey survive and the place has historic links with the Beauchamp family, later Earls of Warwick, which adds to its old-world feel. Today Elmley Castle is a quiet, close-knit community with traditional stone buildings and a parish church, a local economy still rooted in farming and market gardening, and many residents commuting to larger towns for work and services.
