Irvinestown is an electoral ward in Fermanagh and Omagh, in western Northern Ireland, centred on the small market town in County Fermanagh. The ward covers lakeside and rural landscapes around the Erne system, so its geography and tourism are shaped by boating, angling and countryside recreation rather than heavy urban development.
The settlement dates to the early 17th century and still shows a market‑town character with local shops, light industry and farming on the surrounding lands. Community life is active around schools, churches and Gaelic clubs, and the area preserves a number of 18th–19th century streetscapes and local events that reflect its rural, cultural and historic roots.
