Johnston

Johnston is a village and community in Pembrokeshire, Wales, a few miles from the county town of Haverfordwest and close to the industrial and port area around Milford Haven. It sits on the A4076 and the West Wales rail line, with a local station that gives surprisingly good transport links for a village of its size.

Historically a rural parish that grew with the coming of the railway, Johnston now combines farming and local small businesses with a commuter population working in nearby towns and the energy sector. The village has typical community amenities such as a primary school, shops and sports clubs, and its position makes it an easy base for accessing Pembrokeshire’s coast and countryside, including the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
