Llandissilio is a small rural village in north Pembrokeshire, Wales, close to the county boundary with Carmarthenshire and set beneath the rolling moorland of the Preseli Hills. The setting is typical west Wales farmland and heather-clad uplands, much enjoyed by walkers; the surrounding area is part of the same landscape famed for bluestone outcrops that have been linked to Stonehenge.
Historically the community has been shaped by agriculture and local markets, and farming still dominates the local economy alongside a few small businesses. Village amenities such as the chapel, pub and community hall sustain a lively, close-knit social scene, and Welsh language and traditions remain an important part of cultural life rather than large-scale tourism.
