Pencaer is a small, largely coastal parish on the western tip of Pembrokeshire in Wales. Its landscape mixes rolling farmland, rugged cliffs and secluded coves, and walkers on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path pass dramatic sea views and a rich variety of seabirds and coastal flora.
The community is dispersed across farms and tiny hamlets, with an economy rooted in agriculture, small-scale fishing and tourism; holiday lets and local craft also play a part. You’ll find the layers of history in an old parish church, scattered chapel ruins and a strong maritime heritage that still shapes local life and seasonal events.
