The Bradford Moor ward sits to the east of Bradford city centre in West Yorkshire. It is an inner‑city, mainly residential area made up of terraced houses, post‑war council estates and local shopping parades, with regular bus links into the centre.
The ward is culturally diverse, with a strong South Asian community and a lively mix of shops, mosques and community centres; historically it grew up during the 19th‑century textile expansion on land that was once open moor. Like many inner‑city areas it has pockets of economic challenge, but there have been ongoing regeneration and community projects aimed at improving housing, employment and public spaces.
