Clock House is a ward in the London Borough of Bromley, on the south-eastern fringe of London close to Beckenham and not far from Croydon. It is largely a suburban, residential area of Victorian, Edwardian and inter‑war housing with tree‑lined streets and a commuter character thanks to convenient rail links into central London.
The ward takes its name from a local landmark and has small shopping parades, community groups and pockets of open space that give it a neighbourhood feel rather than a town centre bustle. Historically part of Kent countryside before suburban expansion in the 20th century, today it combines a mixed social profile with local civic engagement through representatives on the borough council.
