Coleshill is a small village in Buckinghamshire, set on the rolling chalk of the Chiltern Hills in England. The surrounding landscape is typical Chiltern countryside - beech woodlands, hedgerows and good walking country - and much of the area falls within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which gives the village a rural, scenic feel despite its accessibility.
Historically a medieval settlement with a handful of listed buildings and old stone cottages, Coleshill today balances agricultural and village life with the realities of being in the London commuter belt: many residents work in nearby towns such as Amersham and Aylesbury or commute into London. Local community activities, a village hall and occasional heritage-minded events help keep a strong social fabric despite modern pressures on housing and transport.
