South Heath is a small village in Buckinghamshire, sitting on the edge of the Chiltern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village is characterised by chalkland, beech woodlands and patches of common, making it popular with walkers and cyclists and offering wide views over the surrounding Aylesbury Vale.
Historically a farming community with traditional cottages and farmhouses, South Heath today remains largely residential with a handful of local businesses and a close‑knit social life centred on village events and outdoor pursuits; many residents commute using nearby rail stations at Wendover and Great Missenden, while the rural setting continues to attract equestrian activity and countryside visitors.
