Isleham is a small village and civil parish in East Cambridgeshire, Cambridgeshire, England, sited on the gravel terrace above the River Lark and on the edge of the fenland landscape. Its name reflects its raised "island" position in a once marshy area, and it lies within easy reach of market towns such as Ely and the city of Cambridge.
The village is best known for the spectacular Bronze Age metalwork hoard found there, and Roman and medieval remains have also been uncovered, so it has a strong archaeological profile alongside a medieval parish church and traditional village architecture. Today Isleham feels rural and community‑focused, with arable farming still central to the local economy, riverside walks, a village hall and pubs that host regular events and maintain a lively social scene.
