Egloshayle is a small historic parish on the eastern bank of the River Camel in north Cornwall, lying immediately opposite Wadebridge. With medieval roots and a compact village clustered around its parish church and lanes, it historically relied on the river for local trade and transport before the neighbouring town expanded.
Today the area mixes agriculture with tourism, attracting walkers and cyclists using the Camel Trail and visitors exploring the estuary and nearby Padstow and Bodmin Moor. Community life retains a distinctly Cornish feel, with local events, historic buildings and strong links to Wadebridge for markets and services.
