Ludgvan is a largely rural parish in west Cornwall, England, centred on the village of Ludgvan a few miles north of Penzance. It occupies rolling farmland and granite outcrops above Mount's Bay, offering long views across the bay to St Michael's Mount and the surrounding coastal plain.
The area includes scattered settlements such as Crowlas and Long Rock and is marked by an ancient parish church with a prominent medieval tower. Historically tied to farming, market gardening and the wider mining and fishing economy of west Cornwall, today it combines agriculture, commuting into Penzance and a modest tourism trade linked to coastal paths and local community life with a strong Cornish identity.
