St. Erth is a small village and civil parish in west Cornwall, England, lying by the mouth of the River Hayle and the edge of the Hayle Estuary. It sits a short distance from the market town of Hayle and is best known locally for its railway junction, where the branch line to St Ives departs, making it a convenient gateway for visitors to the north Cornish coast.

Historically the settlement grew from agriculture, coaching routes and nearby mining activity, and the medieval parish church preserves the village’s long history. Today the economy mixes farming, commuter homes and tourism; the nearby estuary is an important wildlife reserve popular with walkers and birdwatchers, and village life revolves around a pub, village hall and occasional community events.
