Millbrook is a small village and civil parish on the Rame Peninsula in south‑east Cornwall, set beside a sheltered tidal creek on the estuary of the River Tamar and within easy reach of Plymouth. Its quay, narrow streets and surrounding farmland give it a quietly coastal character, with footpaths linking to nearby headlands and the countryside around Rame Head.
Historically the community grew around fishing, small‑scale boatbuilding and local trade, and today it mixes a strong local identity with commuter and visitor influences from the city. The village green, harbour and parish amenities remain social focal points, while period cottages and the waterside setting make it popular for sailing, walking and simple rural tourism.
