St. Merryn is a small village and parish on the Atlantic coast of Cornwall, England, a few miles north of Padstow. It’s best known for the string of surf-friendly beaches often called the “Seven Bays”, with popular spots such as Harlyn Bay, Constantine Bay, Treyarnon and Porthcothan, and the rugged headland of Trevose Head nearby, linked by the South West Coast Path.
Historically an agricultural parish centred on its medieval church, modern St. Merryn is shaped by tourism - holiday parks, surf schools, campsites and small local businesses swell the population in summer. The area retains a strong community feel with traditional pubs, village events and a landscape of granite hedgebanks, dunes and rocky coves that attracts families, surfers and walkers alike.
