Middleton St. George is a village and civil parish in the borough of Darlington, in County Durham, lying a few miles east of Darlington town centre. It occupies a pleasant mix of farmland and suburban housing close to the River Tees and Teesside International Airport, with easy road links that make it a popular commuter base for Darlington and the wider Tees Valley area.
The village has visible transport and military history - the site hosted RAF Middleton St George in the 20th century and later developed around the airport and local rail heritage such as the Stockton and Darlington Railway. Today it retains a strong community feel with a primary school, local sports clubs and small businesses, reflecting its role as a residential and service hub within the Tees Valley region.
