Berrynarbor is a small rural village tucked into a wooded valley a short distance inland from the coast of North Devon in Devon, England. The settlement centres on a green surrounded by stone and thatched cottages and an ancient parish church with medieval origins, and lanes from the village lead down towards coastal spots such as Combe Martin and Ilfracombe and the South West Coast Path.
Locally the economy mixes traditional farming with tourism, including holiday cottages, pubs and tearooms, and the village has an active community life - village fetes, horticultural shows and a busy village hall give it a friendly, tightâknit character that swells in summer when walkers and holidaymakers come to enjoy the countryside and coast.
