Little Torrington is a small village and civil parish in the Torridge district of Devon, England, set among the rolling farmland of the Torridge valley close to the banks of the River Torridge and only a few miles from the market town of Great Torrington.
The settlement retains a rural character with traditional stone cottages, a historic parish church and an economy centred on agriculture; it attracts walkers and people seeking country retreats, and is set close to the scene of the 1646 Civil War fighting around Great Torrington, which adds a layer of local historic interest to the community.
