Horrabridge is a village and civil parish in West Devon, Devon, England, set on the western fringe of Dartmoor National Park where the River Walkham cuts through moorland. The village grew up around an old stone bridge over the river and sits close to Meldon Reservoir, making it popular with walkers and birdwatchers who enjoy the surrounding granite landscape and wooded valleys.
Historically the local economy was shaped by farming and nearby mining, and the bridge and village centre still retain a historic, villagey character. Today Horrabridge has shops, pubs, a primary school and an active community life, while many residents commute to nearby towns such as Tavistock or Plymouth; tourism and outdoor leisure around the reservoir and river also contribute to the local feel.
