Stourton Caundle is a small village and civil parish in north Dorset, England, set in the rolling countryside of the Blackmore Vale. The settlement has medieval roots and a compact centre of stone and thatch cottages and farmsteads; its name reflects the village's long association with the local manor landscape and the nearby River Stour.
Traditionally an agricultural community, the village today combines working farms with people who commute to nearby towns and those drawn to rural life. It retains a quietly social character - a village hall, occasional local events and a handful of historic buildings - and is popular with walkers and visitors wanting an unspoilt slice of Dorset countryside.
