Sovereign is an eastern ward of Eastbourne in East Sussex, England, centred on the large modern marina complex of Sovereign Harbour. The area occupies reclaimed land and waterfront, with promenades, moorings and a mix of contemporary housing that gives it a noticeably different, more maritime character than the Victorian town centre.
The ward has a largely residential feel with a local economy shaped by marine leisure, tourism and small-scale retail and hospitality around the harbour.
